This Cookie Policy explains how Uikdlo uses cookies and similar technologies on its Salik recharge top up website. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information between pages or visits, such as your preferences. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in the same way but keep the information only inside your browser and do not send it to our servers with each request.
2. Types of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These are required for the website to work and to keep it secure. They cannot be switched off in our systems. They include the local storage entry uikdlo_cookie_consent, which remembers whether you clicked "Accept" or "Decline" on our cookie banner so we do not show it on every page. It stays until you clear your browser storage.
Functional
These would help the site remember optional choices you make. At present Uikdlo does not set any functional cookies; the Salik recharge amount you pick on the top-up page is read from the page address and is not stored.
Third-party content
Our contact page includes an embedded Google Maps view of our office on Sheikh Zayed Road, and our pages load the Inter font from Google Fonts. These providers may set their own cookies or collect technical data such as your IP address. Their use is governed by Google's own privacy and cookie policies.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies or cookies that build a profile of you for marketing.
3. How to manage cookies
You are in control of cookies on your device:
- Our banner: choose "Accept" or "Decline" when the cookie banner appears. To change your choice later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will appear again.
- Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Look for "Privacy", "Cookies" or "Site data" in the settings of Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge.
- Private browsing: in a private or incognito window, cookies and local storage are deleted when you close the window.
If you block all cookies, the site will still work, but you may see the cookie banner on each visit and some preferences will not be remembered.
4. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we change how our website works. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
5. Contact
