These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Uikdlo website and its Salik recharge top up guide (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Service description
Uikdlo is an online informational service that explains how the Salik toll system in Dubai works and guides drivers through the steps of a Salik recharge. Our forms let you prepare a top up request by entering your Salik tag or vehicle plate details, contact details and the amount you wish to add.
Online payment through Uikdlo is currently not available. Our top-up page is a demonstration: no payment is taken, no card details are requested, and no balance is credited through our website. Any information on the site about Salik rates, gates or rules is provided for general guidance and may change without notice.
2. Independence from Salik and RTA
Uikdlo is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of Salik Company PJSC, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) or any government entity. "Salik" is used only to describe the toll system that our guide relates to. Official account information, toll rates, violations and disputes are handled exclusively by Salik and the RTA through their own channels.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service.
4. User obligations
When using the Service you agree to:
- provide accurate and complete Salik tag, plate and contact details;
- use the Service only for vehicles and Salik accounts you own or are authorised to manage;
- not submit false, misleading or third-party information without permission;
- not attempt to interfere with, overload, scrape or gain unauthorised access to the website;
- keep your own Salik balance sufficient and check it through official Salik channels;
- comply with all applicable UAE laws when using the Service.
5. Intellectual property
The Uikdlo name, logo, text, layout and code are owned by Uikdlo or its licensors. Photographs are used under their respective licences. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use only. Any other use requires our prior written consent.
6. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free or always up to date;
- we are not responsible for toll charges, fines, violations or account restrictions issued by Salik or the RTA, including those arising from a low or empty Salik balance;
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including loss of time, data or opportunity;
- our total liability in connection with the Service shall not exceed AED 500.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
7. Third-party links
The website may contain links to third-party websites, including maps and official sources. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when published on this page. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai.
